  1. Do I have to make reservations?
    1. Reservations are highly recommended.  Large parties, please contact us so we can best accommodate your group.
  2. How far in advance do I need to make reservations?
    1. It’s recommended to make all reservations as soon as you can but, we always try to accommodate last minute reservations and walk ins.
  3. What’s your cancellation policy?
    1. If you have to cancel, please call and cancel as soon as possible so we can open your seat(s) to other customers who may be waiting.
    2. No shows and reservations canceled less than 24 hours before the reservation time will receive no refund.
  4. Is it going to rain?
    1. We’d love to be able to tell you whether or not it’s going to rain  ΜΆ  we suggest you consult the experts at www.weather.com.
  5. What happens if it rains?
    1. We don’t operate during the rain, so we’ll wait for it to clear up before going out on the tour.
  6. Are your boats wheelchair accessible?
    1. We have ramps that will bring you down the dock to either step into or be lifted onto the boat; wheelchairs and/or walkers cannot fit on the boat.
  7. Can my pet go on the boat with us?
    1. No. Unfortunately, this does include all service animals.
  8. Are you guaranteed to see alligators?
    1. We can guarantee that you’re going to see alligators on our premises because we offer you the opportunity to hold our gators after your tour, but we can’t make any guarantees when it comes to the wildlife you may see on your tour.
  9. Do your animals bite?
    1. They can. We don’t tape their mouths closed. They still have their bottom jaws, so DON’T stick your hand or face in or around their heads. When you hold the alligators, we do put a band around their mouths to prevent any bites.
  10. Do you provide ear protection and life jackets?
    1. Yes, we provide noise-cancelling headsets that are also voice activated so you get a narrated tour from your captain. All our boats are equipped with life jackets, and children ages five and under are required, by the USCG, to wear one for the duration of the tour.
  11. Do your boats have seat belts?
    1. No.
  12. How many people can fit on your boat?
    1. Up to 15, we depart at specific times and it’s not dependent on whether we have a full boat, so the number of passengers may vary. We do offer six-passenger private tours as well.
  13.  How fast do your boats go?
    1. Our boats can go up to 45 mph, but we don’t maintain that speed the entire tour.
  14. Will I get motion sickness?
    1. We haven’t had any customers complain of experiencing motion sickness while on the ride.
  15. When is the best time to go?
    1. It depends on the season. Please call 407-568-6790 for a more accurate assessment of times.
  16. Can I go on the ride if I’m pregnant?
    1. We don’t recommend anyone in their third trimester to go on the boats.
  17. Do you have any age restrictions?
    1. No, we leave that up to the parent or guardian to decide whether they’re comfortable having their child on the boat.
  18. Do you have a restaurant?
    1. No, but we have snacks, ice cream, soda, water, and beer.
  19. How many people must be in your party to qualify for a group rate?
    1. If your group has 15+ paying people (not including infants) you qualify for our group rate.
  20. Are you located in the Everglades?
    1. No, we’re located on the St. Johns River, on the east side of Orlando.  It is sometimes referred to as The Central Florida Everglades. The Everglades are located south of Lake Okeechobee in south Florida.
  21. Is there a minimum number of people needed to book a tour?
    1. We don’t have a minimum number for booking a tour however we need to have at least 4 adult passengers to take our boat out so smaller parties may need to be flexible.
